Bill Gilmartin sent in a clipping from his hometown paper, the Naples Daily News, which featured a Saint Michael’s service trip to Immokalee, FL, over winter break. A group of students and staff had volunteered at many places around Naples, including at the Immokalee Friendship House, a homeless shelter where Bill and his wife, Ruth, also volunteer.

If the government really wanted us to have the highest attainable health care, they would not pass the public option. They would give each and every American citizen the types of plans they receive as congress members. A team of doctors, nurses and technicians at their disposal and the government (by government I mean taxpayers) picks up 75% of the premium. But it is THE BEST healthcare in the nation, which is what the people are entitled to, right? But no, they settle for a substandard option that will overwork existing medical staff and discourage others from pursuing a career in medicine. Costs will skyrocket since demand will significantly increase and supply will remain fairly constant at current levels (unless they lessen the requirements of becoming a doctor, but will result in substandard help) due to the nature of economics. London is amongst the top most tourists destinations in the words. The city hosts a wide range of trendy to traditional accommodations. Leisure trip or a business tour, the hotels in the city offer best of facilities to all. Although the hotel industry in London is at a much better position than the rest of UK but, the performance of the airport hotels in the city is gruesome.
It’s going to be a great Saturday – mild and dry with plenty of sunshine. Expect highs in the mid-upper 70s. Clouds will slowly increase Saturday night with a chance of rain returning to the forecast late Sunday. Next week looks like more of a Summertime pattern with highs in the 80s with a chance of daily scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Online coverage of the so called вЂ?Google V’s Bing’ war of the search engine’s has been incessant to say the very least. The Gadget show recently featured a compelling battle between Microsoft’s вЂ?new kid on the block’ and Google’s вЂ?Old Faithful’. Suzi Perry favored Google’s multiple applications while fellow presenter Ortis Deley chose Bing and then was able to use any application other than Google in the second and third rounds. Read more »
